Wooroolin has a palustrine wetlands with a bird hide. The railway line from Wondai operated 1904-2009; now used for cycling, walking/running and horse riding.
A cute little town with a big history. It is along the rail trail cycling track which winds around Ficks Crossing. The area is surrounded by cattle grazing land and grain growing farms.
