What it is?

A small rural town with a population of 338 (2121 Census).

What it offers?

Memerambi translates to sugargum tree.

There used to be a “Stop Shop” on the main road, but it is no longer there.

Once a bustling centre with a hotel, two general stores, saddlery, butcher, bank, mobile sawmill and cheese factory, these days, Memerambi is a quiet rural town of around 338 residents. 

Visit Memerambi Springs along the Gordonbrook Dam Rail Trail Route.

What we did?

A quirky little garden business called – Memerambi Springs Garden Centre is worth a stop, allow at least an hour to have a wonder through. 

Highlight?

The garden centre is lovely to stroll through. 

Would I do it again?

When we get our farm i might call back in, if we were passing through the area. 

As a couple: water bottles; wide brim hat: sunscreen; bug spray; good sturdy shoes; wallet.
