THE PALMS NATIONAL PARK

What it is?

National park with a circuit walking track; a small remnant subtropical rainforest and; vine forest with piccabeen palms, strangler figs, bunya and hoop pines.

What it offers?

A day use area (Boldery Park day use area) with a  lovely cool walking track through a section of national park with some beautiful lovely big trees.

Wheelchair Access?

The day use area may be suitable, but the track is not suitable.

What we did?

We completed the circuit walk which is 650m, grade 3 and takes approximately 15 minutes.

Highlight?

Some of the beautiful big old trees. I love big old wide trunk trees.

Would I do it again?

No

As a couple: Pre-downloaded maps on your phone (reception is patchy); water bottles; wide brim hat: sunscreen; bug spray; good sturdy shoes. 

With Kids: water; snacks; wide brim hat; sunscreen; bug spray; good sturdy shoes.

With Pets: No domestic animals allowed in the National Park. Please leave all animals at home or with a pet sitter.
