One of the many local farm stays. Bunya Red Farm: growing Capers and Peanuts. It is a working farm that you can camp on. The Caper season is September to March.

Boondooma Dam has a caravan and recreation park on a dam. You can also walk or drive up to the lookout.

Boondooma Homestead is a beautiful Heritage listed home and accommodation. Overnight camping also available. Be sure to check out the woodwork in the main home.

Bjelke Petersen (BP Dam) is a local water spot for fishing, camping and relaxing.

Approx. 200kms NW of Brisbane. The Burnett Highway (A3) starts at Nanango and travels N to Rockhampton. The Burnett Hwy forms part of Australia’s Country Way.

The main town for the SBRC area. Kingaroy has larger shops including BCF & Woolies, so if you need to resupply, this is a good place to stopover for a few days.
