What we did?
We checked out the camping area which appears to have good-sized separate campsites. We walked to the lookout and then walked down the track to the water, so was so pretty down there and it is highly recommended to do the walk.
Highlight?
Sitting on the rocks down next to the water while Michael went looking for the water that he thought might have been a waterfall, he didn’t find a waterfall.
Would I do it again?
Yes, it was one of the prettiest locations in the region. It was peaceful and pretty.
As a couple: Pre-downloaded maps on your phone (reception is patchy); water bottles; healthy snacks; wide brim hat: sunscreen; bug spray; good sturdy shoes. I saw a couple fishing down at the water; I do not know if they were catching anything or if the fish were edible.
With Kids: water; snacks; wide brim hat; sunscreen; bug spray; good sturdy shoes.
With Pets: as Auburn River is a National Park, no domestic animals are permitted.
