Laundry sheets
What it is?
Instead of heavy, smelly, messy laundry liquid/powder, we have been using laundry sheets; they are thin, lightweight, and easy to use.
Why did we get this brand?
There are now many different brands of laundry sheets available on the market.
So far we have tried all of the pictured below brands.
Our current brand is Activated Eco.
Tirtyl changed its name to Skipper.
Little Big Bamboo is a strange name, but it was a good product.
My favourite so far would have to be the Gold Coast boys with Lucent Globe.
So far there has only been one brand that I have had to throw some of my stuff back in for another wash.
The sheets are great for travelling as they weigh next to nothing and take up almost no space.
If we needed to buy a new one tomorrow, would we buy the same?
I think I will stick with the Lucent Globe brand. The only thing I don’t like about their brand is the advertising they do and the amount of waste they are creating by trying to show us how fabulous their product is. I don’t believe they need to be doing that, and I don’t like the waste, but hey, that is just my opinion. They do have a good product, so I will continue using them. Plus, I also raised my children on the Gold Coast, so I might be a bit biased about the Gold Coast.
Pros
- easy to use
- extremely lightweight
- delivered straight to my door, no matter where I am living
- no mess
- no smell
- less space used for storage
- for a heavier/larger load, you just add more sheets
- less/recyclable waste
Cons
- Need to wait for shipping (ability to forward think/plan), but it is generally pretty quick delivery.
- Need to know where you will be able to deliver, e.g., the location of the shipping address can be difficult when you are moving constantly, like we do.
- There may be a problem with high humidity, although we haven’t experienced this yet. The laundry sheets may or may not stick together with humidity.

Research the market. There is a lot of choice nowadays.
It might come down to who can ship it to you the quickest.
Some companies have scented sheets, so this may be a preference for you

Different size packaging available.
